.Within days I noticed I was repeating myself less. His awareness, and eye contact, following directions is overall better, noticeably better. His teacher even confirmed during conference last night. His bowels have been formed, stinky yes but formed. The biggest thing for us is the speech. He is non verbal and apraxic. He has said words sporadically here and there the past few years and we have done MANY therapies. The last two days (with eye contact) he has been consistently attempting speech. He is going "Ha" for help, and "The" for tickles. I'm so excited to see where we are in a month!!! UPDATE: It's been 4-5 days since the story above and my son has said, "mom-mom,ma-ma, pop-pop,da-da,bye-bye,koo-koo,want-it!!!! Our non-verbal son is FINALLY talking!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
